Hmmmm

Ducklings, carrying blankets: Can you put these on us so we can be boasts?
QOC, arranging blankets over heads: Do you mean ghosts?
Ducklings, under blankets: Ha, ha! Now we are roasts!

Or watching the Food Network too much. "My roast is the toast of the town. I do not boast - they haven't a ghost of a chance!"

Well, yeah, I see what you mean about the rhyming words.

QoC - have you introduced them to Dr. Seuss yet?

I'd like to lay claim to a nice little pre-phonics lesson, but no, I think they were just unclear on the word.

The phonics lessons always happen during the quietest parts of the church service. "What's dat letter, Mama?"

We've done some Dr. Seuss, although only the simpler tales thus far.
