Every time over the past few months we have asked D1 what she thinks the little baby will be, she has said, "I think it will be a little girl."
Every time we have asked D2, he has said, "I think it will be a little boy."
Today I went to the doctor. It looks like they are both right.
Someone pinch me. Or just send money.
Important question for blog readers: D3 and D4? Or D3a and D3b?

D3a and D3b ;)
Wow!! Congratulations and Congratulations!
Ditto on the Wow! Did you see that coming? When are the little ducklings due?
Oh my word!! That's so great Karen! Congratulations to you!! It will be overwhelming but also so fun. I think boy/girl twins are so cute. That's so great.
=O!!!!
Woah! I'm EXCITED and...jealous! =D HA!
What an AWESOME thing. Two awesome things. And you only have to go through the whole process once. Lucky "duck". ;)
Congrats! and I'd go straight numeric progression - D3 and D4. They aren't one duckling split two ways, they're one pregnancy split two ways.
wow! congrats and congrats! i find twins exciting, but with two little ones already, it will be a bit of work - may God give you the continued strength in your pregnancy that you need each day, and that you're family will need once the little ones are here!
Wow, congratulations!
I'm so excited and happy for you! Congratulations! I've just GOT to get out there to see you sometime after the twins are born.
I vote for D3 and D4.
People with established dish-washing skills are always welcome, Juliana! ;-)
NO WAY!!!!!! So Cool!!! I'm so excited for you! (yeah, I know you could tell with all the exclamation marks).
I vote for D3 and D4.
I wish I lived close enough to do something physically helpful, but I'll stick with praying for you.
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
I still have the huge smile that was plastered on my face when DOB called me! ~ Definitely D3 and D4. One will be born before the other!
Wow! Congratulations!
How exciting (and how overwhelming!)
D3 and D4 gets my vote—I'm sure they'll be _definitely_ themselves, rather than much the same:-)
(How old will D1 and D2 be?)
All the best!
Congratulations! I'm very excited for you guys.
And I vote for D3 and D4 too.
Congratulations.
About nine years ago a friend of ours called her husband. He asked how the doctors appointment went. She said it was fine, the doctor said the babies were doing well. The husband, a quick guy, asked if the doctor could tell if the babies were identical or fraternal. The wife said both. Huh??? The wife explained - triplates. They had naturally occurring triplets, it happens about one in ten thousand pregnancies.
They survived and the three boys are doing fine.
Good luck.
