D1 and I were playing "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear" game today, whereby I call out actions, preferably rhyming ones, and she runs and does it. I said, "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, run to the stairs. Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, go to the chairs."
She went to the piano bench.
"No," I said, "That's a bench. A chair has a back."
Immediately she put her hand on her own back and announced, "I am a chair!"

We were outside for a little while yesterday afternoon and she was entranced by the neighbor's greyhound, who must have been cooped up like us all winter.
"We're watching the dog," she said, "And the horse."

So cute!
Extremely cute. Sheesh I'm still giggling about you not bowing to DOB......hahaha!
Does DOB remember calling a Great Dane a horse? He was probably 5 or 6.
Also, I have to be careful what I read at work. I was laughing so much I know I was disturbing the work environment.
I love being a Grampa. I cherish D1 and D2. Their Mama and Papa are doing a trememdous job with them.
