The worst thought to me was that the kids tried to get their blankets and pillows down so they could curl up in a corner, but were not allowed. Knowing how desperately Addie needs her quiet space, and the thought that she would be forbidden from it, convinces me that she's better off at home with me! (Who sometimes sends her to her room so *I* can have quiet space, but we all benefit.)
Yes, I found that very disturbing as well. D2 gets overstimulated very easily--I can imagine how cranky he would be if he had to be around large groups of people all the time.
